Team Building: Why Does it Matter?

AllSearch Annual Field Day Picnic

Last Friday, the AllSearch Team gathered for a fun day at Springettsbury Park. A little sunshine and a lot of food made for a great day, but the highlight was playing back-to-back competitive games well into the afternoon.

Most of our team is comprised of post-college varsity athletes – so you can imagine how competitive we are off the court, let alone on the court. After an intense game of knockout, it was time to let loose on the sand volleyball court. Thankfully, the only injuries were to the egos of those who lost.

“In all seriousness, AllSearch strives to create a warm, welcoming environment for its internal team. We appreciate our team and what they do to produce results for our clients and candidates. After months of the 8-5 grind, never letting the ball drop on the client or candidate side, we like to show our appreciation through a day in the park, a company-paid dinner, or a relaxing day of golf, etc. It’s all about the work hard, play hard balance.” Jason Connors, AllSearch CEO

It’s important to cultivate a strong company culture and work environment. This can mean big things, like completely revamping office spaces and benefits, or little things, like planning “team building activities” throughout the year. In order to get the most productivity from your team, it’s key to plan small breaks at least every quarter. It leaves your team feeling refreshed, refocused, and ready to crush the big goals for the next quarter.
